About the speaker

Billy Foote became a follower of Jesus at the young age of 6. After graduating from East Texas Baptist University he began his itinerant ministry in 1990 leading worship for youth, college, missions, camps, and church-wide events full time. His songwriting began just a few songs before he penned "You Are My King (Amazing Love)" in 1995. Since then, Billy has written songs known and embraced by the church world-wide. Such songs include "Break Our Hearts", "I Have a River", "Sing to the King", "You Are God Alone (not a god)" and more. He shares with you on E-Quip about the challenges faced by being an authentic worship leader in todays culture.
